Dr. Jeffery Garrison is an Illinois licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in comprehensive psychological, forensic, and neuropsychological evaluations. He earned his doctorate degree in clinical psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, DC Campus in 2022. Dr. Garrison works with patients and clients across the lifespan, assessing for neurodevelopmental disorders like ADHD and intellectual disability; head trauma (e.g., concussions and TBI); neurocognitive disorders including dementias; trauma, mood, and legal referrals that include IME, fitness to stand trial, FOID card, immigration, and custody matters. He approaches testing evaluations in a client-centered manner and provides realistic comprehensive recommendations.

Dr. Garrison also provides individual psychotherapy to adolescents and young adults (ages 12 to 40 years old). His treatment specializes in clients who are part of the LGBTQIA+ community and survivors of family and religious trauma. He approaches therapy using an Acceptance and Commitment (ACT) lens and focuses on the client’s values and strengths in session. He helps clients “clean up” their suffering and identify roadblocks that are hindering the client from living a value-filled life.

Outside of work, Dr. Garrison loves being outside and staying active. He loves running the lakefront trail and swimming in Lake Michigan. As an avid foodie, he is constantly exploring new restaurants. Dr. Garrison is a University of Tennessee sports fan and loves repping his Volunteer Orange. GO VOLS!
