Rebecca Lebovitz is a psychotherapist working at Wellington Counseling Group. She recently earned her M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from DePaul University and is certified in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention by the Crisis Prevention Institute. Rebecca received her undergraduate education at the University of Maryland, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in general biology..

Rebecca brings to her role experience working with children, adolescents, their families, and adult clients in clinical areas such as school-refusal, depression, complex anxiety, and low self-esteem. Rebecca takes an Existential and Cognitive Behavioral approach to therapy, aiming to empower her clients to regain their sense of control through building an individualized toolkit of coping skills they can utilize in and out of sessions. Rebecca works collaboratively with her clients to create a therapeutic space that is curious, nurturing, and safe, all necessary ingredients for pursuing lasting growth and self-understanding.

In her free time, Rebecca loves spending time with her family and friends, trying new restaurants around Chicago, sketching, reading, and finding new TV shows to binge!
