Alexandra Milbourn
Alexandra Milbourn, LPC

Alexandra Milbourn is a Licensed Professional Counselor working with adults, adolescents and children experiencing distress or conflict that interferes with their quality of life. Her clinical areas of strength include complex trauma,adjustment difficulties, relationship difficulties, anxiety, and mood disorders. Alexandra is passionate  about creating a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space, while providing authenticity that humanizes the vulnerable experience of therapy. Her therapeutic approach is integrative and holistic in nature, wherein she focuses on the cohesion between the mind and the body. Alexandra makes use of evidence-based practices such as: trauma-informed, person-centered psychodynamic, and cognitive behavioral therapies, tailored to meet the unique needs of her clients.

Alexandra earned her Master’s Degree in Forensic Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology and her undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Criminology from Florida State University. She brings clinical experience in private practice and the inpatient setting, alike, experiences that provided her opportunities to treat diverse populations that included children, adolescents, and adults, all of whom presented with a wide range of mental health concerns and diagnoses. These experiences shaped Alexandra’s appreciation for psychotherapeutic intervention and prevention across the lifespan, and the particular role that psychotherapy plays in the capacity to strengthen emotional regulation and healthy connections  for children and adolescents. Alexandra approaches psychotherapy with adults with a trauma-informed lens and has received supervised training in sex therapy. Additionally, Alexandra’s education and training include forensic-based services and insight into mental health challenges within the justice system. She is currently working towards her final clinical license and continues to participate in professional trainings and education.

In her free time, Alexandra enjoys trying new restaurants, yoga, running, traveling, walks along the lakefront and spending time with friends and family.

Aldona Marchese
Aldona Marchese, LPC

Aldona Marchese is Chicago Psychoanalytic Institute-trained child and adolescent psychotherapist. She specializes in treatment of children, adolescents, and emerging adults. Aldona provides consultations and support for parents and families as they seek to enhance their parenting strategies. Aldona also provides cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for young individuals so that they can develop and maintain effective coping strategies and tools. Additionally, she is fluent in both French and Polish and brings to her practice a keen awareness and sensitivity of multicultural factors affecting many of her patients.

Aldona possesses extensive experience from both academic and clinically focused settings. She supports each child and their family through social, academic, and behavioral challenges and empowers them to gain insight into the emotional roots of their challenges. For some patients, Aldona also applies the principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) so that her patients can develop and maintain more effective coping strategies.

Aldona holds a Master’s in Early Childhood Special Education from Dominican University and is a Board-Certified Educational Therapist. More recently, Aldona has embarked on extensive additional training in Mentalization Based Treatment at Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling at Trinity University.

In her spare time, Aldona loves traveling and preserving nature with her husband, two active young sons, and their beloved rescue dog.

Allison Lobel
Allison Lobel, Psy.D.

Dr. Allison Lobel has an extensive background working with children, adolescents, and families. She’s focused on helping children and families, with a specialty in diagnosing and treating children who are on the autism spectrum, have developmental delays, sensory and regulatory issues, ADHD, caregiver-child attachment issues, peer relational difficulties, anxiety and depression, adjustment issues, and grief and loss.

Dr. Lobel follows a developmental and relational approach to understanding and addressing the underlying difficulties people can experience throughout their lives. She believes in the adage that a family is only as happy as its unhappiest member, so she strives to support parents and help them understand their child better.

After earning her Master’s and Doctoral degrees from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology – Chicago, Dr. Lobel has gone on to shape a career both treating children, adolescents, and families as well as heading up the division at WCG that focuses on youth treatment. She currently serves with a number of agencies for children with special needs, as well as being a certified administer of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) which serves to provide a more appropriate diagnosis of autism spectrum disorders.

In her free time, Dr. Lobel enjoys cooking, traveling, exploring Chicago, exercising and spending time with her family and friends.

Rebecca Lebovitz
Rebecca Lebovitz, M.Ed.

Rebecca Lebovitz is a psychotherapist working at Wellington Counseling Group. She recently earned her M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from DePaul University and is certified in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention by the Crisis Prevention Institute. Rebecca received her undergraduate education at the University of Maryland, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in general biology..

Rebecca brings to her role experience working with children, adolescents, their families, and adult clients in clinical areas such as school-refusal, depression, complex anxiety, and low self-esteem. Rebecca takes an Existential and Cognitive Behavioral approach to therapy, aiming to empower her clients to regain their sense of control through building an individualized toolkit of coping skills they can utilize in and out of sessions. Rebecca works collaboratively with her clients to create a therapeutic space that is curious, nurturing, and safe, all necessary ingredients for pursuing lasting growth and self-understanding.

In her free time, Rebecca loves spending time with her family and friends, trying new restaurants around Chicago, sketching, reading, and finding new TV shows to binge!

Katelyn Kosinski
Katelyn Kosinski, ALMFT

Katelyn Kosinski is an Associate Level Marriage and Family Therapist. Katelyn believes that we can reach our greatest potential and experience peace when we learn how to have healthy relationships with ourselves and others. She is passionate about helping couples, families, and individuals shift from surviving-to-thriving by breaking the cycles that have kept them stuck. Katelyn does this by first identifying their personal needs and then homing in on the strengths that all individuals innately possess. With couples, she utilizes Emotionally Focused Therapy, along with Gottman and Attachment-based techniques. In her work with individuals, she incorporates mindfulness strategies alongside CBT and narrative therapy, to help clients grow and become more confident in themselves and in their relationships. She is also a 100-hour-certified mindfulness meditation instructor.

In her free time, Katelyn enjoys playing outside with her puppy, visiting national parks, stand-up paddle boarding, watercolor painting, and cozying up with some tea and a good non-fiction book.

Cressie Goode, M.Ed., LPC
Cressie Goode, M.Ed., LPC

Cressie Goode is a psychotherapist who works with young adults and adults, both virtually and in person at our Lakeview and River North offices. Cressie obtained her Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from DePaul University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor.

Cressie’s areas of clinical focus include work with individuals—especially women—who are experiencing relational conflict, family discord, childhood or more recent trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, and lifestyle transitions. She also assists individuals who are exploring LGBTQIA+ identities with a rare degree of cultural awareness. In her treatment, Cressie primarily utilizes Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) techniques and attachment theory to guide treatment with her clients and is a committed believer in the healing power of relationships. She is also trained in EMDR – a research-backed modality that utilizes bilateral stimulation to help process trauma that we feel is ‘stuck’ in our brains and in our bodies. Cressie believes the key to effective and useful therapy is the strength of the relationship between client and therapist, and builds a strong rapport with clients to make sure each of them feels heard, cared for, and understood. 

Cressie graduated with her bachelor’s degree at the University of Iowa, majoring in psychology and creative writing. Cressie believes art can be a great therapeutic tool and draws upon her own artistic educational background by introducing reading and writing exercises into her work with clients in innovative ways.

In her free time, Cressie enjoys attending yoga classes, hanging out with loved ones, and visiting local restaurants. She has two cats named Freckles and Mac, who you may see pop up in your next telehealth session!
